Lloyd, Holiday Sr.

Holiday Lloyd Sr., age 81 of Houston passed away on August 11, 2004. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maggie Estelle and Willie Harrison Lloyd; brothers, Willie Oscar Lloyd and J.B. Lloyd; and sister Lillian Walker. At the time of his passing survived by his wife, Betty Jean Kee Lloyd; children Holiday Lloyd Jr and wife Barbara, Debbie Lloyd Barrios and husband Rick Hiller. Grandchildren, Holly Lynn Lloyd, Holiday Lloyd III and partner Tina Holstein, Jennifer Michelle Lloyd Sharp and husband Sean, Ricky Hiller and Alexander Barrios. Great Grandchildren, Joshua Lloyd, Malauri McNatt, Tyler Lloyd, Hunter Woods, Madisun Lloyd and Faith Sharp. Brother, Clyde W. Lloyd and wife Florence. Holiday is also survived by numerous family members and his church family. Funeral Services were held at Canon Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday August 14, 2004, at 10 am with Dr. J.D. Andrews officiating.
Holiday was affectionately known as PAPA to his loving grandchildren and great grandchildren!

Lloyd, Grace Marie Rosenau

(January 26, 1929 – April 14, 2022)

Gracie Marie Lloyd was born in Houston Texas on January 26, 1929, to Mack and Maggie Rosenau. She grew up on a farm north of Waller Tx during the great depression and attended Waller High School, graduating in 1946. After high school she attended a business school in the Heights in Houston.

On October 4, 1947, she married A. J. Lloyd, they were married for 49 years until his death in 1997. They had two children, Dottie and Larry.

She worked at Texaco Credit Card Center in Bellaire for 20years and retired in 1987.

Grace was an accomplished artist and instructor at the community center in Hockley and in her home. She was active in the Alzheimer’s Association and TOMAGWA in Tomball. She loved to travel with her friends all over the country and to Europe.

 Grace is survived by her daughter Dottie Scudder and husband Mike, and by her son Larry Lloyd and his wife Alice and by grandchildren, Tanya Simmons, Brad Simmons and wife Kelly, Johanna Buck and husband Jason, Andrew Lloyd and wife Megan. She also has 10 great grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Sabin, Logan, Lindy, Evelyn, Alvy, Anders, Emma and Arden.

(November 26, 1927 – November 14, 2015)

Betty Jean Lloyd, age 87 of Houston passed away on November 14,2015. She is preceded in death by her husband Holiday Lloyd, Sr.; parents, Clarence and Murl Kee; brothers, H.C. Kee and Charles Kee; sisters, Florene McClure and Celeste McKinley and survived by son, Holiday Lloyd, Jr. and wife Barbara; daughter, Debbie Hiller and
husband Rick; grandchildren, Holly Lloyd, Holiday Lloyd, III and wife Tina, Jennifer Lloyd and Sean Sharp, Alexander Barrios, Ricky Hiller; great grandchildren, Tyler Lloyd, Hunter Woods, Madisun Lloyd and Faith Sharp, Joshua Watkins, Malauri McNatt and Madden
Hiller; sisters-in-law Florence Lloyd and Gyneth Kee and families; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015, from 5-7pm.Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 19, 2015, at 10am at Canon Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.

Land, Betty Jane Helton

(December 21, 2013)

Betty Land, age 86 of Waller, passed away on December 21, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents Paul Helton and Lillian Ward Helton; husband, Jessie Alvin Land; sons, Donald Earl “Donnie: Land and William Franklin “Bill” Land; granddaughters, Jennifer Arrington, Tracy Land and Lisa Land; brother, Henry Helton; Georjean Helton Wheeler; and is survived by sons, Larry Wayne Land and Robert Allen Land; daughter Sandra Gale Arrington; sister-in-law, Lori Helton; grandchildren, Randy Land, Stephen Land, Sherry Land, Jose Land, Austin Land, Rhonda Comeau, Sheila Blinka[1]Vezurk, Blake Arrington, Patricia Arrington-Daley, Stephanie Saunders, Kelli Harvey, Ashley Land, Joshua Land, Cory Land and Heath Land; 33 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and numerous other family members in Kentucky

Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 5 to 8pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 27, 2013, at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Pastor Allen McClure officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery

Jones, Virginia Adell Sullivan

Virginia Jones age 78, of Magnolia passed away November 9, 2007.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Finis Jones; son, Jerry Jones and wife Debbie; son, Ronald Jones; daughter, Sharon McFarland and husband Ray; sister, Frances Baker and husband Bill; grandchildren, Michael Jones, Chris Jones, Jamie Childers, Brian Huff and Kamie Huff and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday November 12, 2007 from 6 till 9 PM at Canon Funeral Home.

Services following Tuesday November 13, 2007 at 11:00 am.

Interment followed at Macedonia Cemetery.

Adell lived to be 78 years, 11 months and 28 days old.

Jordan, Ethel Brooks

Ethel Brooks Jordan, age 90, a native of Burkeville, TX and resident of Magnolia, TX passed away on February 16, 2019.

She is preceded in death by parents Zachary and Leona Brooks; husband Ramsey Lee Jordan; daughter Glenda Jean Lloyd.

She is survived by son Taylor Jordan; 2 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren as well as numerous friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 12-1 pm at Canon Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 1 pm with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. 

Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.

Ethel lived to be 90 years,10 months and 25 days old.

Jemison, Michael Brandon

Michael Brandon Jemison, 33, of Hockley, Texas, passed away on 09 September 2020. He was born to Rebecca Jemison on 06 January 1987 in Galveston, Texas.

Michael is survived by his wife Shalon and 3 children: Kyran Jemison, Jaxon Jemison, And Danaka Jemison as well as Rebecca Gomez, Mother, Slade Gomez, Brother, Derick Gomez, Brother, Joe Gomez, Step-Father, And Many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family has entrusted Beresford Funeral Service with the arrangements. Services will be held at the Gomez Family Hall located at 18725 Telge Rd Tomball Tx 77377. Viewing #1 is scheduled for Friday September 25, 2020, 5pm-9pm. A second viewing will take place Saturday September 26, 2020, at 10:30 am prior to the Funeral service at 11 am. After which there will be a short graveside service at Macedonia Cemetery located at 26000 Springer Cemetery Rd Hockley, Tx 77447. Perry Espinosa will officiate both ceremonies.

Kaminski, Dennis

Dennis Kaminski entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 1st, 2019. He was celebrating his 35th wedding annviersary with his wife Karen in Glacier National Park, MT. Dennis was born on June 15th, 1961.
He was preceded in death by his father Varice Fontenot, his sister Regina Kaminski, and his mother Carloyn Kaminski.
He is survived by his wife Karen, his son Jordan Kaminski and daughter-in-law Becca Kaminski, and grandkids Cora, Nadya, Petrina, Dennis, & Vera Kaminski from Lake City, CO. His son Tyler Kaminski and daughter-in-law Jules Kaminski, and grandkids Isaac, Wesley, Stuart, & Lillian Kaminski from Tomball, TX.
Dennis is also survived by his Father and Mother-in-law Paul & Frances Erwin of Estes Park, CO as well as his brother’s-in-law Chris Erwin of Dickinson, North Dakota and Dennis Erwin and his wife Nicole Erwin and their son Teague from Stockbridge, Michigan.
Dennis grew up in Moss Bluff, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering. Dennis had a long career in the oil and gas industry which he truly enjoyed. He always loved engineering. He loved the relationships with the people in the industry.
He was an avid outdoorsman. Hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and being with his family were among his passions.
More than all the above, Dennis had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. That faith was lived out by the way he humbly served his local body of believers at Tomball Bible Church and especially his family.
He will be missed by his family, especially his sons and his ‘daughter-in-loves’, his grandchildren who lovingly called him “Pops” and his wife, Karen, whom he adored. They had a love and devotion to one another, which was a picture of Christ and love for His church.

Izard, Mae Dell Smith

Mae Dell Izard, 93 years young, entered Heaven’s gate on April 23rd, 2021. Mae Dell was born on January 25th, 1928, in Cawthorne, Texas to Thomas Jefferson and Emma Frank Smith. She married Ernest Perry (Pete) Izard on August 6th, 1948, which she was married for 51 years till his entrance to Heaven’s gate on October 22nd, 1999.

Mae Dell was a devoted lifelong Baptist and a Homemaker. Mae Dell loved to work in her garden, go fishing for catfish and she loved to draw. She was a Charter Member of the Heights Hospital Ladies Auxiliary in Houston, Texas. Mae Dell took over her late husband’s Partnership interest in P & S Cattle Ranch with her son Stanley.

Mae Dell was preceded in passing by her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Emma Smith, first husband James Lamar (Jiggs) Henson, her late husband Ernest Perry (Pete) Izard, 9 siblings and numerous other family members.

Mae Dell is survived by a daughter, Jamie Henson Grider; son Ernest Jr (Camille) and son Stanley (Jo Anne) Izard; sister Helen Thiel; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren along with numerous other family members and friends

Funeral services will be held at Mc Williams Funeral Home in Hempstead, Texas with the Rev. Phillip (Deke) Mc Williams officiating. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 27th from 5pm till 7pm. Services will be Wednesday, April 28th at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Macedonia Springer Cemetery in Hockley, Texas following the service.

Pallbearers are Shane & Brodie Izard, Jason & Colbe Izard, David Lucherk , Mike Izard and Brian Izard
