Patricia Ruth Holder Butcher was born in South Houston on May 18, 1940.
She had a premature birth and challenging neurological issues to overcome,
yet she did so and proved to be a profoundly intelligent child. She was a
talented musician with the ability to play complete songs on the piano after
only hearing them and also became a member of the Texas All-State Choir
as a Soprano her senior year of high School.
She was a graduate of Pasadena High School in 1958 and later Massey
Business College yet gave up her career for marriage and to raise two boys.
After her divorce, she moved back to Texas with her boys in 1976 to live
with her foster parents Harry and Iva Breneman.
She began to work in Food Service with Tomball I.S.D. and retired after
many years of service for the district. Patricia was an active member of First
Baptist Church, Tomball and was a singer in the sanctuary choir. She was a
member of the Tomball Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #838 and was a
frequent pianist of the order.
She was a beloved resident at Brookdale Champion Senior Living. She
loved the church services, singing, and bible study. She loved to read about
and watch television programs on religion, esoteric matters and lost
civilizations. She loved her savior Jesus Christ and she leaned on Him until
He finally called her home.
