I would like to know if hanging a beautiful wind chime on the oak tree besided my Dad’s grave is allowed. Seem like every time that’s done, not long after hanging it’s removed. Would like to know the regulation on that or are thieves removing the chime.

I would like to know the outcome and rule on this….wind chimes….yes or no? I personally would not like to have wind chimes as what if everyone decided to have them? They would disturb the tranquility and peace of those visiting.

          Lane,
Our bylaws only specifically restrict the placement of cut flowers, vases, wreathes, potted plants and permanent structures (such as trees, shrubs and benches) so technically there is nothing keeping people from placing wind chimes near grave sites. That being said, the cemetery association isn’t responsible for them. If you’d like to discuss this further let me know, I’d be happy to talk to you about it.
